Explosion in western Afghanistan killed and wounded 15 people
2022-01-24
[Khaama] An explosion has targeted a van in the western Herat province on Saturday, January 22, 2022, that killed six people and wounded nine more.

The explosion has taken place in Police District 12 of the provincial province.

Local health officials said among the dead bodies are four women and two men while among the wounded are five women and four children.

Provincial officials said that the explosion took place due to a magnetic bomb that was stuck to the van and that investigations have been started about the incident.

No group has taken responsibility for the explosion yet.

This is the first deadly explosion in the province after the Taliban regained power in August last year.

#2  Hey, at least this time we know it wasn't a drone strike!

Probably. I mean, the CIA is probably still there killing people. But most likely, the US had nothing to do with this. And that's a good step in the right direction.

#1  They'll never stop slaughtering one another. Like everything else this administration touches, the circumstances surrounding the pull-out were an absolute disaster. Being gone from there is a good thing however.

Perhaps we have learned something from these foreign misadventures.
