| Yemeni forces defeat new offensive in Shabwah |

| by Brecht Jonkers [HodhodYemenNews] The Yemeni Armed Forces have yet again defeated an attempted offensive by the Saudi-led coalition in the governorate of Shabwah. “During the last 24 hours, our armed forces were able to counter a number of large-scale advances with heavy air cover toward our forces’ positions in A’ain district of Shabwah,” Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said in a message on Saturday. The statement continued by claiming that around 120 invaders were killed or injured, and twelve armoured vehicles were destroyed in the Yemeni victory, which also saw the use of four ballistic missiles launched by Yemeni forces against the enemies. |
