| [IsraelTimes] Commander of US offensive insisted at time that dam wasn’t targeted, but Central Command now confirms military dropped 3 2,000 pound bombs on ’towers attached’. A covert United States military unit reportedly targeted a massive dam in Syria controlled by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... with some of the largest conventional bombs in the army’s arsenal, despite the levee being on a "no-strike list" given that flooding could put the lives of tens of thousands at risk. |

| #7 In March 2017, ISIL warned of the dam's imminent collapse[37] after the towers attached to the dam were bombed by US Special Operations during a joint US/SDF operation to capture it on March 26, 2017 I remember the news of the 'imminent failure' of the dam. You'd think somebody would've said why it was in danger back in 2017. |

| #4 Standard lies by half-truths. First statement implies they targeted civilians, second statement makes it clear it was collateral damage -- against war criminals who routinely use civilian shields. All anonymous sources as well. |

How unusual. the US military covered up a covert army cell that repeatedly killed Syrian civilians during the campaign against Islamic State. I thought it was common knowledge that the US government allied with not only mass murderers, but Al-Qaeda in Syria. People don't know that? The strikes in Baghuz, in Syria’s east, targeted a group of women and kiddies huddled by a river, who had been identified as such by Air Force personnel monitoring the area. These ROE have been in effect for a long time. Any gathering of military-aged males is a target. Oh, they made an oopsie! Doh! Innocent women and children died? LOL, boy, their face is sure red! Just call them fumble-fingers! |
