| Government forces members wounded in Syria’s Daraa |

| [NPASYRIA] On Wednesday, a number of government forces were maimed when an bomb planted by unknown persons detonated against their bus near the town of Sayda in the eastern countryside of Daraa, south Syria. The targeted bus was carrying members of the law-enforcement forces working in Jaber-Nassib border crossing with Jordan, North Press reported a local source. The bus was targeted by an IED planted by unknown persons on the side of a road near the bridge of Sayda town on the Damascus-Daraa highway, the source added. More than ten members were maimed. Some were seriously maimed. They were transported by ambulance to Daraa National Hospital to receive treatment, the source noted. Another source said that the number of the maimed members amounted to 13. Residents accuse the government forces of targeting the bus, as there are many military patrols of the government around the clock near the area of the bombing. The eastern countryside of Daraa has been recently witnessing targeting operations against members of the government forces by unknown individuals. |
