#4  The issue here is that airplane radar altimeters and 5G cellular are on adjacent frequency bands. Radiated energy bleeds from one band to another, causing interference. Interference with a plane's altimeter is probably not good. The two-dollar word is "adjacent band operation".

Radios can be engineered to be more selective about the frequencies they receive, but before 5G, this was not a requirement. On paper, there is no problem so we are going to do the real-world experiment and find out.
