#12  Or the film highlighting the decadence of The West, and the viewers were like, "you mean, they have so much food they have food specifically for cats?"

#10  Our stores are also short on cat food. And milk. I can't recall anything else I have looked for and not found much selection. Oh, and tv sound bars.

#9  I think P2K's food desert comment is spot on, and the subsequent feral excursions into the urban/civilizational suburbs interface will have increasingly kinetic outcomes. Sadly, the MSM and the overlords will then involve rank-and-file federal LEOs under the guise of fighting racism and white supremacy, shading the issue in the perception of the clueless sheep in farcebook and the twitterverse...

#7  Cat food seems to be ok, now that I don't have a cat....

I did have problems finding fritos corn chips this weekend.

#6  The only thing in short supply was cat food.

Well, and cash to pay for it.
My grocery bill has almost doubled.

#4  ..I suspect food deserts are going to happen in certain urban localities where its dangerous to tread with narrow streets and back alleys. The demand for drivers will leave the 'boss' with a choice of losing drivers, "I can go elsewhere", or no deliveries to iffy addresses.

#1  ...Did my grocery shopping Sunday, as always. The only thing in short supply was cat food.

And, quite frankly, anybody saying 'Soviet store during 1981' should be smacked upside the head with the nearest wooden implement.
