Ukrainian Soldier Killed as Tensions with Russia Soar |
2022-01-02 |
[An Nahar] Ukraine said Saturday one of its soldiers was killed in fighting with pro-Moscow separatists, as the US again warned Russia against any attacks on the country. U.S. President Joe The Big GuyBiden ![]() was due to speak to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, after warning Russian President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... for the second time of a tough response should he invade Ukraine. In his New Year's Eve address, Zelensky said ending the war in the east remains his "main goal". "One serviceman of the Joint Forces was fatally maimed," the army said in a statement, adding that separatists had launched three attacks within 24 hours, using grenade launchers and small arms. The army gave no further details of how the soldier was killed. Tensions with Moscow have soared in recent months, with Russia massing troops near Ukraine's borders. The West has accused the Kremlin of planning an invasion. This week, Biden held his second phone call with Putin in just over three weeks, threatening Moscow with major economic sanctions should it launch an attack. The Russian leader said anti-Moscow sanctions would be a "colossal mistake". |

#4 Oil price below $65 crushes the Russian budget outlook. That's what fracking + Trump's policies achieved. Oil price above $85? Russia's rolling in money. That's what Magoo's idiotic policies are achieving. And these assholes said Trump was a Russian agent. We Are Ruled By Moronic Shitheads |

#3 ^^^^ If we really wanted to sanction Russia, we would take actions to increase American oil supply and thereby reduce the world price of oil and Russia's income. But that will never happen. The greens are the best friends the Russians could have. |

#2 threatening Moscow with major economic sanctions You mean like cutting off Russian gas exports to Germany? Ah, so that explains why Germany's shifting towards nuclear power. Oh wait.... |
