| Iranian Guards kill 3 ‘bandits’ after deadly attack in flashpoint province |

Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... that left 2 of its members dead Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced Friday they had killed three people who were involved a deadly attack that left two of their members dead in the southeastern province of Sistan-Balochistan. On December 26, the Revolutionary Guards had said two of its members had been killed in the province that borders Pakistain, in "armed festivities with a group of bandidos and mercenaries," without providing further details. On Friday, the Guards said they "targeted and killed the perpetrators behind this crime" in a "surprise" operation, according to a statement reported by the website Sepah News. The suspects had been working on "shaking the peace and security of residents in the southeast of the country," they added without elaborating. Sistan-Balochistan province lies on the border with Pakistain and is a flashpoint of festivities between security forces and gangs. The festivities often involve smuggling gangs as well as separatists from the Baluchi minority or turban bad boy groups. On November 18, three Iranian coppers, including a colonel, were killed and six others maimed in festivities with an gang while patrolling an area bordering Sistan-Balochistan. |
