Rationale: * Perp is not a white guy so the "white supremacy" angle is out. * No strong BLM connection, so no "black man snaps from racial injustice" * Given his rap sheet, the guy is a poster child for the currently popular under-incarceration fad. That was more a comment on human behavior in general than this particular set of datapoints. I see patterns. I see people jumping to conclusions based on limited information with lots of uncertainties. I see people reveling in the outrage. I get the outrage and jumping to conclusions. Outrage is fun. You get a huge endorphin rush and you can jump up and down and hoot with the rest of the tribe. The monkey brain loves that stuff. And jumping to conclusions is adaptive even if it is often wrong. It reduces the cognitive load on your brain and in terms of probability, it can be the best course of action. Is that a leopard in over in that bush? Better to freak out than be sorry/dead. Basic game theory. We know a bunch of people got run over. The question is motive. Seems to me, amateur that I am, that what we have here is the fundamental intelligence problem: how do we make an intelligible picture from a bunch of dots? Our choices at the moment are terrorism, misadventure, or thuggish assholery. For terrorism, domestic or otherwise, you need a political or religious motivation. Otherwise, every weekend in Chicago is Domestic Terrorism. We know: * He has a Hate Whitey social media profile common to rap stars, thugs, and racial grifters, I don't take that as particularly dispositive one way or another. * Possibly fleeing from a crime in progress. A reasonable thing if you have open warrants. Fleeing does not make one a cautious driver. * He is out on bail for running over his baby mama in a domestic beef along with a hefy rap that sheet suggets poor impulse control. * the event was nearby in time and space to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Coincidence? Bottom line: I don't see the whole picture and based on what we know, you probably don't either. A classic example of Two Movies Playing on the Same Screen. My personal pet theory at the moment is thuggish assholery, but I am totally willing to update that given more evidence. At least the perp didn't say "Aloha Snackbar" or his motivations would remain ever murky. |

Two citizens told an officer there was a possible fight near the boat launch at nearby Frame Park with possible knives involved and you can hear a few officers responding with lights and sirens. Then an officer gets there and says there’s no one there after he checked the boat launch and the baseball field and rotary building. A minute later is when the first officer spots the SUV speeding toward the parade route. It’s not clear, though, whether this incident is related to what happened at the parade. I was able to find an online recording of Waukesha police scanner traffic in the 10 minutes or so before the incident, and can confirm I heard traffic about allegations of a knife fight near a boat launch, followed by dispatching of more than one police car, about 5 minutes before the incident. Most of the recording was stretches of silence. I wish now I had downloaded that. It's amazing how fast things can be disappeared from the internet. |

We can deny this, appeal for unity, join hands and light candles etc all we like, but we cannot deny the simple fact any longer: these attacks represent a campaign of official state terror. Darrell E. Brooks Jr. is yet another in a long line of violent felons unleashed upon normal, peaceful citizens by a communist Dustrict Attorney who came to power the same way Biden and his sick crew did, thanks to the crucial aid and money of our corrupt Woke oligarchs.
