[NYPOST] Dramatic video shows the moment an off-duty police officer put the bite on would-be armed tuff guys while in the middle of a dental checkup.The unnamed Brazilian cop is seen on security camera footage being examined by the dentist around 10 a.m. Thursday when armed robbers are seen forcing patients and dental office employees into the room at knifepoint, according to video originally posted by Globo.com.
The 46-year-old cop, a member of Brazil’s Federal District Military Police, is seen getting up from the chair with his hands up and going down to the ground in the city of Ceilandia.
When one of the thieves goes to check on the cop and search his pockets, he turns the tables and wrestles the suspect to the ground, holding him at gunpoint.
"Open wide, Suspect Number One!" he said gleefully.
A second genius then charges into the room at the officer but is also pummeled to the ground by the hero cop after being shot and maimed, according to Newsweek.
"That didn't hurt too bad, did it?"
The injury was not life-threatening, the outlet said.
"Darn! A little to the left next time!"
The two suspects, both 19-year-olds who were not identified, were then arrested.
