| #1 30 years.... Anyone want to explain the justice in this? My Suggestion: The US court system needs a overhaul to be FAIR and Simplified. Lawyers should be given 5 years to file all their appeals. Instead of stringing them out to file, just months before each new delayed execution date. Then we need to also have a USC law that states. If a person is wrongfully convicted and/or executed based on deliberately withheld evidence beneficial to the defendant, or knowingly presents False Evidence against the defendant. Then all those doing so will arrested and tried in court. The sentence to be equal to the handed down sentence plus allow the recovery of up to 10x's all expenses incurred and/or loss of income by the defendant. Sure would speed things up.... |
