#4 Tree planting in the King Abdul Aziz Royal Reserve protect endangered plants, cultivate breeding and restore vegetation to reduce desertification and restore biodiversity. The Reserve is located in the Riad area covering 15700 square kilometers. Founded in June 2018, its development is overseen by an administrative body led by the Interior Minister. The reserve contains the kingdom’s largest nursery. The surrounding area is a natural environment and is protected from hunting, overgrazing and logging. |
