| #4 *Yawn* Remember the ABM Treaty with the Soviets? When they kept their installation 'active' they pressed the US for concessions because of their 'advantage'. Reagan countered by offering to put MIRVs on all of the US ICBMs and drown them in warheads (which we could afford to do back them) ... the Soviets caved. TL/DR: Ho Hum. If the Chinese want to play MAD then the US and more than match their bid. The ABM system is best used against minor nuclear powers. |
