[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Jonathan Goodwin was performing a stunt on America's Got Talent: Extreme

  • He was being suspended between two elevated cars between which he was supposed to fall when they crashed together with him caught in the middle

  • Crew members on set reportedly thought Goodwin had been killed as a result of the fiery mishap, though he was responsive when rushed to the hospital

  • The stuntman competed on season 15 of America's Got Talent last year

#1  Upfront, yes I watch _____ Got Talent covering several different countries. Yes some acts are 7+/10.

But some like this one, are extremely limited to only certain ventures.

But now consider the $$$$ (what $15 to $20k+?) involved in setting up this 1 performance per event venture type act.

I see this type act only suitable for a few non-professional Motor sports events and most likely Demolition Type Derbies. Events less likely to afford the costs and still turn a profit.

So I'll ask the question:
Where did the $$$$$ come from to stage this?
Was it a AGT paid and staged ratings act gone bad?
