| Trump Calls for '18 Pulitzer Prizes to Be Stripped for Being Fake News |

[NewsMax] "I call on the Pulitzer Prize Board to immediately rescind the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting awarded to the staffs of The New York Times and The Washington Post, which was based on false reporting of a non-existent link between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign," the statement began. "As has been widely publicized, the coverage was no more than a politically motivated farce which attempted to spin a false narrative that my campaign supposedly colluded with Russia despite a complete lack of evidence underpinning this allegation." If the NYT looked past Walter Duranty, they'll clutch said Pulitzer as though it were pearls. But it will be entertaining to see The Grey Lady and The Post grasp at increasingly implausible straws justifying the prize. Or (unsuccessfully) ignore the story entirely. |

| #3 The awards have been worthless as far as identifying good journalism all the way back to Duranty. The winner's list since then is more of a rogues galley than a hall of fame. And they just keep digging. |

| #1 I guess the Pulitzer Prize Board has a decision to make. Do they refuse, thus admit the award is based on the articles popularity, political narrative and not its factual reporting. OR, do they do the right thing and admonish the Political Agenda Fiction Hacks and rescind the awards. Which then blackballs them with their wine sipping buddy-buddies in the MEDIA Dictatorship world? BTW: Given the PHONY Impeachment was likely initiated and based on these clearly Political Fiction articles. Shouldn't these Media Hacks and their MSM employers be sued and forced to reimburse the $$ Millions taxpayers spent to cover the costs of the unnecessary IMPEACHMENT Proceedings? |
