| #3 Nobody likes melee range. I suppose the easiest would be a sort of modern Retiarius system, though with a grapple instead of a trident. Just kind of let him wear himself out, but I supposed the optics would be triggering, even though everyone goes home alive and well. |

| #1 But consider this ... They have a certified off his rocker type still tossing objects (knife? rocks and etc.) at police. This after being ZAPPED a few times, Maced and Bean Bagged over a 20+ min attempt to de-escalate and arrest. Then the Taser aiming and pointing forced a Protect measure. Could have it been handled better? Yes I think it could have been handled better in a number of ways. A Tranquilizer dart, butterfly net, fire hose and etc... But Police don't have those items and they use what the Politicians deemed they be allowed to use. BTW: The media's shot fired count may also include the numerous Bean-Bags and Taser discharges. But that fact is conflicting depending on the which Media is being used as a source. |
