| #12 #8 $80 Million from Dems/Tech/Unions had a lot to do with this loss In Michigan there is a loophole/feature in the campaign finance laws that if you are the incumbent targeted in a recall campaign, there are no limits on financing. This does not apply to the challengers who are limited by the usual rules. I believe California has a similar set of laws. Corrections welcome. |

| #6 Like impeachment, recall is a waste of time as all outside the election cycle moves tend to be. The real lesson here is what a horrendous loser Gray Davis was. An outlier. How many people who put time / effort / money into this recall are now disillusioned? A lot. And it distracts from the fact that the Cali GOPe is as bad as it gets. |
