#12 Indeed, Skid. I have all the pork I could want. But I do have to process it myself. And that is nasty this time of year. Thankfully even a small freezer filled in the winter will last all year. Always looking for good ground pork recipes - lets me use more of those larger feral swine. |

#11 I'm noticing that good quality foods has gone way, way up, but cheap crap continues to be cheap. In other news, I bet we could prevent more COVID deaths by closing McDonald's than we have by closing gyms. |

#5 Why not start with WHO is owned by and EXPORTING to China/Asia large amounts of Meat? Or what about the 1.5 Billion lbs of U.S. Chicken Meat exported. NOTE: Tyson Foods is already 25% owned by Ping Shan Cobb-Vantress Ltd. of China. Smithfield Foods, Inc., the top USA Pork producer and food-processing company is a solely owned subsidiary of WH Group of China. As one Leading food industry expert said: "Food is poised to become the oil of the 21st century, with scarcity and demand creating a situation ripe for wars, riots and uprisings." "The Chinese already consume half of the world’s pork, and they are growing wealthier and hungrier for meat every year." So China, with 1.4+ Billion mouths to feed and crop land declining in China with its population growth.... It should get interesting to say the least over the next 20 or so years. BTW: Was at SAMS Club yesterday. 80/20 Ground beef is cheaper than Bacon and Chicken wings per pound |
