#8  Ref #5: My guess as well. The best and brightest do NOT usually gravitate toward Chemical officer branch and assignments. I'm guessing some Rapinoesque life-style similarities, but it's only a guess.

#3  Honestly this is about what I expect out of Army leadership these days. I can't name a single current general that I've heard of that I have any respect for. They all seem to be ones like this. Even "Mad dog Mattis" turned out to be one of them.
