Rolling Stone Issues 'Update' After Horse Dewormer Hit-Piece Debunked |
2021-09-06 |
[Zero] Update (1155ET): Rolling Stone has issued an 'update,' not a correction, or a retraction, by appending the hospital's statement to the top of the article. Rolling Stone's Jon Blistein led the charge: On Friday, Rolling Stone's Peter Wade took another stab - publishing a hit piece claiming that Oklahoma ERs were overflowing with people 'overdosing on horse dewormer.' It was suspect from the beginning. Her father, Kevin Ogle, and uncle, Kent Ogle, are anchors at KFOR-TV, while her sister, Abigail Ogle, is an anchor and reporter for the local ABC affiliate. Her other uncle, Kelly Ogle, is an anchor at the local CBS affiliate." "May the |

#1 What we have here is a what I call the flocking effect. When one horse kicks and bucks then runs madly the others follow. It is an insanity as infectious as any cold virus. Pass the popcorn. The show must go on. A new power play toy to play with. Then for as long as people have interest in the game. |
