| [FOX] A spokesperson for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tested positive Monday for coronavirus following a meeting last week with members of the Texas Legislature who fled the state for Washington, D.C. proving the vaccine only effective in humans Drew Hammill, a top aide to Pelosi, said the unidentified staff member was fully vaccinated and did not have recent contact with the top California Democrat, though the speaker's office is taking extra precautions as a result. "Yesterday, a fully vaccinated senior spokesperson in the speaker’s press office tested positive for COVID after contact with members of the Texas state legislature last week," Hammill said in a statement obtained by Fox News. "This individual has had no contact with the speaker since exposure. The entire press office is working remotely today with the exception of individuals who have had no exposure to the individual or have had a recent negative test. Our office will continue to follow the guidance of the Office of Attending Physician closely." On Tuesday, Pelosi and her staff were spotted wearing masks again at the Capitol. Following a loosening of mask restrictions by the Capitol physician, many members have opted against masks in recent weeks. |

| #9 Masks dont matter - aerosolized particles of the virus are smaller than the mask can filter. And the vaccine is not a preventative one, it's an immunity-boosting one. It is designed to give the body the ability to recognize the infection quicker and produce the antibodies needed to effectively fight the virus quicker, rather than having them continuously present, unlike, say, the polio vaccine, which provides immunity. So yes, you may get infect by a variant even if you have been vaccinated, but your body is much more likely to fight it off before it becomes serious than if you were not vaccinated. As far as I can see from public data, the people that are being hospitalized and dying are the UN-vaccinated. The math says to get the job, preferably the Pfizer one, especially if you are extremely overweight, diabetic and have heart/lung issues, and are over 60 years old That's the main group this thing is hospitalizing and killing, and that's why the FL gov's action to concentrate on protecting that group worked as well as it did, and NY was a death trap because they did nearly the opposite. Funny thing is, this who Sir Robin (monty python) act by the Dems in Texas is going to cost them dearly in 2022, not jsut in Texas, but nationally. |
