| #24 I'd watch the first few episodes but, as has been noted, I don't think it would last very long after the first few of them get whacked. People pay, what, $30 PPV for MMA Fight Night, bring in 1million views, three episodes and we are set. No overhead, combat pay camera man in latest body armor, and pay off the college debt of the Mental Health Professional. Start a rivalry, get it really going. "Hey Green Bay...Chicago had two survivors...I don't think you can top that!" I think this is even better than Hipppe-hug-a-polar-bear. |

Are they telling us that these snowflakes will "advance under fire"?? Prediction: after the first couple of 'em get shot, the rest will either want an armed escort and we are back to where we started, or they will simply bail and the whole thing will fall apart. Most people with half a brain will look at ideas like eliminating the police and think, "That's stupid!". But as a philosopher said, "It's a fine line between stupid and clever". Sure, this sounds stupid, but if we have never tried it, do we really know? Perhaps there is some incredible non-linearity that makes everyone nice once we eliminate the cops. I say we do the experiment and if it doesn't work (hint: it won't), we have evidence we can point to next time some dumbass brings it up. |
