Islamic terrorists lead religious services in a quarter of federal prisons: inspector general report
2021-07-13
[Just the News] Audit found inmates affiliated with Islamic State, al-Qaeda, al-Shabaab allowed to lead services.

Inmates convicted on terrorism-related charges or with "known connections to terrorist organizations," including the Islamic State, al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab, were allowed to lead religious services at a third of the federal prisons audited by a federal watchdog, raising deep security concerns.

A recent audit by the Justice Department's inspector general of the Chaplaincy Services Program in the Federal Bureau of Prisons found four out of 12 facilities in which terrorist inmates were eligible to lead religious services.

At three of the facilities, the prisoners were affiliated with Islamic terrorist groups, with at least two leading services "on a regular basis" or a "frequent basis." One of them was chosen to lead services by other inmate coreligionists "due to his extensive faith knowledge and Arabic fluency."

This wasn't the first time the IG found terrorist inmates leading services, the report states, citing a March 2020 audit.

#5  #2 That was a bold effort you made. I meet correction officers nearly every day and the problem you have spoken of is true here on the East Coast. Here when you have an Islamic cleric overseeing religious activities of all faiths You can imagine the disruptive actions he can impose. He is treated like a sacred cow. Each race is separated. You don't dare intermingle. So upon discharge they are out for a while and then they return. In the real world they don't survive very long.

#3   CAIR and the democrat machine are deeply owned by elements of Islamic expansion

I’m sorry to hear that, NN2N1, though it’s typical. CAIR began as one of the American branches of the Muslim Brotherhood, and has never stepped away from its purpose as the soft jihad of the law in Dar al Harb.

#2  I made the front page of the LA Times, above the fold, for the first time in my professional life, for asking, in a secure Law Enforcement only setting, a question about how we were going to develop policy about post 9/11 Islamic Religious services for California Department of Corrections Muslim inmates if we didn't know how many there were, and what would be the credentialing standards on clerics, and the version of the Koran permitted. We had been told that there were no formal credentials needed, merely the call to serve was adequate to become an Imam and gain access to the general prison population, which seemed fraught with potential terrorist recruitment risk without extensive background checks, which were deemed as Islamophobic. (...the Noble Koran for example, apparently has far more aggressive texts apparently regarding Jihad and permitted behaviors against non-believers) For asking those questions alone, I was pilloried by name as a bigot and anti-Muslim. It turned out the wife of one of the Senior Cal DOJ Agents present was a Press Secretary for a senior Democrat member of the Legislature and leaked my name and selectively edited questions and context.
CAIR and the democrat machine are deeply owned by elements of Islamic expansion, and the infiltration of the correctional systems nationwide seems to have continued....
