| #4 Brings back childhood memories of a Readers' Digest story. Flight crew member went out of a bomber at 18,000 ft over Germany without a chute. Pine trees and a snow bank meant he only got a broken back out of it. Germans didn't believe it until they found the crashed and burned bomber with the fittings from his burned parachute still in the plane. |
