Muslims face increase in online attacks in Europe

[DW] Muslims across Europe experience hate speech, threats and physical attacks. Now the Council of Europe, the continent's leading human rights organization, is debating countermeasures.
So are Jews and Christians, but who in Europe is protecting them?

Imam A.* remembers paint attacks on his mosque in a small western German town: "Several years ago someone spray-painted huge swastikas right across our walls and windows," he remembers. And the number of such attacks has increased markedly in recent years, he says.

In 2020 alone there were more than 1,000 criminal incidents and almost 150 physical attacks on mosques across Germany.
Anti-Moslem sentiment and antisemitism have become an everyday occurrence in Germany. The country's Interior Ministry registered 1,026 anti-Moslem attacks in 2020. It is suspected that many more have occurred but have not been reported.

#2  Rapes of European girls happen almost daily in Europe, or even more often. There’s a lot of pressure on them not to be racist by reporting it to the police, and on the police and the news media to keep quiet as well.

#1  I expected this type of media garbage only a couple of days after a 13 year old European girl was gang raped and murdered by these people. Every time they brutally kill innocents the media races out bull shit such as this to take the heat of their murderous asses.
