That's where I remember him. Filmed in Las Vegas NM. The cantina they blew up remained a standing wreck till a about decade ago.

#3  I've read all the Travis McGee novels by john D. MacDonald. Good reads all. For fun, each one had a color in the title. Hollywood botched bringing this to the big screen. Rod Taylor and Matthew McConaughy are not a good choice for Travis McGee. Nick Nolte in his prime might have been. All the plots are pretty predictable but enjoyable reads non the less.
