#11 Don't be shocked when you learn Keegan just took delivery of these firearms from an FBI undercover agent. It is easier to keep track of your known wolves if you meet with them regularly. Providing a bit of guidance and support helps keep the file folders thick. |

#9 Don't be shocked when you learn Keegan just took delivery of these firearms from an FBI undercover agent. The Mayor of Chicago desperately needs a media diversion. This is a diversion. |

#8 Keegan should tell Chicago authorities that he was meeting Jussie Smollett at Subway and when he got back some Rednecks put the weapons in his room. |

#7 A hinky story. Keegan could be in a lot of trouble if Chicago wants to push it. I'd like to hear Keegan's side of the story before the rush to judgement. Lightfoot has a lot to say but then again she has a lot of problems in Chicago; she's a nutjob with a lot of crime problems. It could be "nab the out-of-state guy and make it look like she is doing something about all the shootings in Chicago." He proposed to his girlfriend right after his arrest. Thought he was with his wife and kids. Keegan seems like a dumbass. |

#6 Was it "defaced" or was it a home-built? |

#5 Other than the DWI charge, everything else in his past is low level dumbassery. The defaced serial number could get him in federal trouble. Assuming he wasn't planning a massacre, his big mistake was not knowing that IL doesn't recognize any other state's permits. I also can't figure why he'd bring a long gun with him on a non hunting trip. |

#3 I know exactly where this hotel is and, depending on what side of the building the family was staying, would have a pretty good view of Navy Pier (although it is almost 700 yards away from the hotel). There are some pretty popular parks right across Lakeshore Drive (or whatever they're calling it now) that are a lot closer. Round in the chamber does sound suspicious, if true. They don't say if the weapons were encased in any way. 'Rifle’s serial number was not visible' is another red flag. Hauling in your weapons from your car overnight in Chicago (or anyplace) is a pretty good method of not having them stolen IMHO. |
