| #2 Well, the Chinese keep the fires warming about the last the clash with Japan, wherein a smaller Japanese army dominated a good portion of China. However, you could interpret the comment is directed to the Junta in Washington that 'no, you are not going to get away with just doing hand wringing if China does act, mumble and equivocate'. |

| #1 ...This was a quiet, direct warning from our Japanese friends. I'd say the Chinese would be wise to heed it, but I suspect they're beyond rational geopolitical thought right now. This will not end well. Mike |
