US Army, post Analysis, Admits Genders Different in Fitness
2021-07-06
[WesternJournal] According to a Military.com report, "early data shows nearly half of female soldiers can't pass the [equity fitness] test and might face being removed from service once it becomes official next year."

The Army is now considering a return to gender-specific fitness standards....

Army officials testifying before a House Appropriations Committee subpanel meeting last month proposed a solution to this dilemma: separating scores by gender so that men and women are not compared to each other.

#8  My older brother, before he retired, was rather sarcastic about the US Navy deciding that "physical strength wasn't that necessary". Why would you want an able bodied seamanperson be able to carry a wounded sailor by themselves to safety? Needing two sailors should be okay, right, Right?

#7  How does the House Appropriations Committee propose to deal with this?

Mandatory vaccination?

#5  ...I've always thought that when it came time to downsize the Army, teams of retired officers and NCO should be mobilized to go to every command to do the annual weigh in. Warrant Officer techs recalled to calibrate/validate the equipment used. Those more than 5% above the limit process for early separation. That would be followed by a second review of all the records of those to be separated for any rater who stipulated that the individual met standards. That would be the second wave of separations for false official statements.

#2  ...but, but, equity! So much for equal pay for equal work. The enemy doesn't care, at some point everyone is an infantryman.

separating scores by gender so that men and women are not compared to each other.

How many genders? Thanks to the Junta you have to deal with at least three and, depending on the madness, maybe 53.

#1  Not only is there going to be a run on nylons, but all the transgender troops, as they awaken from their surgeries (and perform fitness tests in high heels) will want to be tested with the easier criteria.
