Spoter B, if you look at the top of the Rantburg page, under the site banner, you will see

Click on either and a window will pop up. Fill in the blanks, including the drop down menus — noting that Source wants the URL of the thing (starting with http or www), not its name typed out (New York Times, though that is too often not a trustworthy source) — click on Preview to make sure it looks the way you want it to, then click on Submit to drop it in the hopper. If the moderators agree that the article fits Rantburg’s particular needs, and someone else did not beat you to the story, that’s all it takes. Note that articles submitted after 2 p.m. ET, or earlier if we already have enough articles, will be pushed to the next day, unless the report is about a major, ongoing terrorist attack that needs liveblogging. Or political events on the order of the death or resignation of President Biden.
Also, please be sure your source is trustworthy. There are lots of excitable websites/blogs that post stories they found somewhere on the internet without dates or enough hard information (who, what, when, where, why) to check and see if the events in question are both real and recent.
Note that Page 1: War on Terror is for active attacks: blood, bombs & bullets, kidnapping, arrests and trial sentences, illegal drug seizures, Antifa/BLM protests.
Page 2: WoT Politics/Background is for politics and background stuff related to the active WoT attacks: cumulative numbers about eg. total Taliban attacks in May, political maneuverings in the key countries we track, everything to do with the trials of jihadis except the arrest and the sentencing, background on jihadi groups or individuals.
Page 3: Non-WoT is all the miscellaneous stuff, including Communists, culturally dictated misbehaviour in the countries/regions we’re watching, pandemics, silly stuff, crimes, science and technology, etc.
Page 4: Opinion is for op-eds, most blog posts, data analysis, and original pieces by Rantburgers.
Page 6: Seedy Politicians/Politics is intended for American politics, includes things about the good guys that involve or respond to bad guys, which is why Donald Trump stories almost always end up on Page 6.
The moderators often have to prune the number of articles submitted for Pages 3, 4, and 6, whether deleting duplicates, stacking multiple related articles under one headline, or deleting altogether as not fitting Rantburg’s interests. Please understand that this is not personal; we all have limited time and attention, and we all have other sites to visit for different interests.
