Ex-Pakistani diplomat: Biden 'delusional' to think Taliban has broken ties with al Qaeda
2021-07-02
[WASHINGTONTIMES] The Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. They learnt this stuff in college, you know...
is "delusional" if it thinks the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
have broken or will break from what is left of the al Qaeda terrorist network in Afghanistan, says a former top Pak diplomat in Washington.

Husain Haqqani, who served as Islamabad’s ambassador to the U.S. a decade ago and is now a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, said the "military situation in Afghanistan is comparable to what happened in Iraq in 2011."

His assessment in a message to The Washington Times dovetails with those of a growing number of regional experts who warn that the vacuum left by the U.S. and NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis....
pullout from Afghanistan could trigger an turban surge akin to the rise of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
in Iraq and Syria after the 2011 American troop withdrawal from Iraq.

#6  Prediction: Plugs will soon be jumping into bed with the Taliban. US funded 'infrastructure' projects, roads, schools, hospitals, etc. It was actually all our fault. Hunter will take the lead. You'll see.

#5  'I want to talk about happy things, man': Biden snaps at reporters asking about Afghanistan and says he will only answer 'legitimate questions' as last US soldiers are flown out of Bagram airbase and Taliban take swathes of the country

#2  As I said a few days back, this is all part of the ISI's long game to keep America's guns trained on the taliban in Afghanistan, while sheltering it themselves in Pakistain. It makes the taliban grateful guests and forever open to ISI 'suggestions'.

Yes, taliban and AQ are close, but all sunni organizations are interconnected. You cannot aid an islamic republic and not inadvertently aid islamic terrorism anyway.

It's in Pakistain's best interest to keep American forces in Afghanistan, and aid running every which way out if your treasury. Whether it does this by swinging that heroin carrot before your State Dept fobbits, or by shouting 'wolf!' every few days for the â”, all Pakistain wants is America's unending engagement in this dungheap.
