Manhunt Underway After Suspect Shoots Florida Officer in Head During Vehicle Inspection | |
2021-06-26 | |
The shooting prompted a county-wide lockdown and the Daytona Beach Police Department is offering a $100,000 reward "for anyone who can help authorities locate the man who shot one of our officers in the head," a statement from the agency reads. Authorities have identified the suspect as Othal Wallace, a 29-year-old black male, who was behind the wheels of a gray 2016 Honda HRV with Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, tag 7TNX532 at the time of the inspection and shooting. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Department said in a blurb Wallace is considered "armed & dangerous" and urges anyone with information on the suspect to contact 911 "immediately." The identity of the maimed officer is currently withheld, but Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young confirmed he is at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. "No change in the status of my hero who was shot in the line of duty last night," Young said on Twitter early on Thursday in the latest update. "He’s fighting while all of us are praying." A separate blurb from the department reads the officer is out of surgery but remains at death's door. Young told news hounds during a press briefing there are more than 500 coppers that have responded in the area and they are currently committed to doing everything they can to hunt down Wallace. "I’m grateful for every agency that has responded over here tonight to help us because they are committed to staying out here until we have this coward in jug," the chief said. In a 29-second clip from the incident, Wallace is seen on the body-camera video from the officer shooting at him shortly after he started a conversation, asking the suspect if he was living here. Update: Othal was found hiding in a treehouse in Atlanta. Someone left the irony on

#8 He was being sheltered by the NFAC, which I suspect won't be classified as domestic terrorists anytime soon. |

#7 There appears to be some evidence that adapting to Western culture is more difficult for some than for others. Amalgamation efforts continue (by a long list of other names of course), but evolution to civilization takes time, and the definition of civilization does vary. One could point to the Mesa Verde as somewhat related. Reservations are certainly out of the question. Urban holding pens reinforced by Critical Race Theory and entitlement appear to be the popular solutions. |

#6 Are black people evil? That's philosophy, or - maybe - theology. The right question is (IMO): "Can African-American and American cultures coexist?". |

#5 Evil is a possibility in us all. And nobody's a saint when you think of it. What separates people you can coexist with from people you cannot, is their willingness to respect some universal rights. Some cultures have no concept of such things, and instead glorify wanton cruelty, immorality and chaos. You know what these cultures are. They all bear resemblance. Evil or no, if you identify as part of any community you will bear all its failings and curses. Which is why I favour individualism over group identities. But a society made of strong individuals would not need a bloated houseful of politicians, so those that wish to rule need to divide and label populations, divvy up their constituencies. The community leaders of blacks have, for generations now, led them into propagating a rogue culture of revenge and robbery justified by bygone injustices. A culture America tolerates to it's own detriment because it absolutely worships words about equality and social justice written by great |

#2 Surround him at a sparsely populated spot, point your cop-cams away from him and at random things, while one guy does a wakandan impression shouting stuff like 'I be killin' y'all!' etc. Target should be heard not seen. Make sure the action is in a blind spot for all cams. The lead shooter should have his cam's line of sight obscured by car roof or pillar, like he's shooting from cover. Everyone shouts 'Active misdemeanant... err, misdemeaming!' and other police inanities, while the target is perforated. Now, wearing latex gloves, place an illegal gun [always have these handy] in his hand and fire some rounds into your own car. The team keeps mouthing nonsense about 'look for other shooters' and 'check if anybody's hurt!' and waving their chest cams around everywhere else. Cops and ATF in other countries have similar routines like it, called 'encounter baazi [as in bachabaazi?]' or anti-forensics by some. Jointly developed by army and paramilitary to kill legally defended insurgents, and adapted by cops to great effect nowadays. But ours only had to contend with street CCTV [thank Gawd!]. I understand this might take some staging and prep, but cam-screwed cops should spend time evolving such tactics. |
