#8  I agree with the fire suppression systems. Kinda like a gas station.

#7  install their own personal fire-suppression apparatus

Trash pumps for your fire abatement needs.

Got a 2" for irrigation and to move water between ponds. Also works on draining swimming pools. Deductable.

#5  Homeowners could do more to clear deadwood near their properties, install fire breaks, and perhaps for the homes worth $1 million or more, install their own personal fire-suppression apparatus or devices. The millionaires could well afford that. People who choose to live in a tinderbox should expect fires now & then.

#4  Controlled burns and logging out old deadwood is the answer, but the Greenidiots don't want logging roads established or Mr. Squirrel to lose any habitat

#3  ^ I can assure you it is not pleasant. What is worst is the realization of that which came before is gone and cannot be recovered. Now, follow up that with a pandemic how CA responded. Good times.

#2  My friend lost his two storey home, all his stuff and all his wife's paintings in the fires. They had to basically start from scratch. I can't imagine what it must be like.

#1  Or they could have logging companies pay the state to remove some trees and deadwood. I know, an outdated concept.
