SUBJECT: Army Directive 2021-06 (Implementation of the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004)
2021-06-20
Just in case local Law Enforcement decides to resign or can no longer handle the job. Not the first time Posse Comitatis Act has been set aside:

[US Army Directive 2021-6], Para 4A Excerpt:

4. Policy.

a. Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 926B, notwithstanding any other provision of the law of any State or political subdivision thereof, an individual who is a qualified law enforcement officer as defined in enclosure 2, and who is carrying the identification described in enclosure 2, may carry a concealed firearm that has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce, while in an off-duty status for personal protection, subject to the restrictions in paragraph 5 of this directive. For the purposes of
this directive, Army counterintelligence agents who have been authorized the issuance of badges and credentials to conduct counterintelligence investigations are also considered to be qualified law enforcement officers.

b. Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 926C, notwithstanding any other provision of the law of any State or political subdivision thereof, an individual who is a qualified retired law
enforcement officer as defined in enclosure 2, and who is carrying the identification described in enclosure 2, may carry a concealed firearm that has been shipped or
transported in interstate or foreign commerce, subject to the restrictions in paragraph 5 of this directive.

who needs them if our glorious leader said the biggest threat to our national security is CLIMATE CHANGE?

Don't we all agree that the biggest threat to our national security is OUR GLORIOUS LEADER?

#8  What's supposed to be upsetting about this?

While the Army will keep the capability and mission that FCA had these past decades, it will look a bit different with mission execution being pushed out to additional locations in CONUS

Army counterintelligence agents who have been authorized the issuance of badges and credentials to conduct counterintelligence investigations are also considered to be qualified law enforcement officers.

It would seem that the former Army CI cadre is being repackaged for the FBI's domestic role.

#7  What's supposed to be upsetting about this? All I see is a statement that someone with law enforcement credentials can carry concealed. I don't see a blanket issuance of law enforcement credentials to those in US Army CI.

#4  The DIR 2021-10 - Commander's Risk Reduction Toolkit was interesting too, Besoeker.

The Army CRRT is a web-based tool that includes 26 authoritative data sources displaying 40 risk factors to present command officials with a consolidated history of each Soldier’s personal information and potential risk.

Now apply the new McCarthyism to it.

#3  In other CI news:

Subject: FCA Colors Casing and Inactivation Ceremony (7 July 2021)

Greetings SOD/FCA alumni. As always, you can count on me to send the mass emails out with bad/sad news. As the title of the email reflects, I believe this to be truly one of the emails I never thought I’d be sending out.

After 47 years, the United States Foreign Counterintelligence Activity will case its colors and officially be inactivated as an Army organization on Wednesday, 7 July 2021.

This will be the first of three unit inactivations over the next 12 months, coinciding with the scheduled unit changes of commands, concluding with the 902d casing its colors in the summer of 2022. As part of the G-2 directed CI Reformation, the 902d will transform into new Army CI Command, led by a yet unnamed 1-star General Officer. While the Army will keep the capability and mission that FCA had these past decades, it will look a bit different with mission execution being pushed out to additional locations in CONUS, and keeping the x2 overseas locations.

Formal announcement memo found at this link.

Nice to know, poster may be on to something here, in a CI (counter intelligence) way.

Need to monitor SIGINT domestically for signs of subtle implementation.

#1  The WOKEization of the US Military must be accelerated if this directive is to be utilized. I don't think there are enough people carrying B's & C's to make much of an impact just yet.

January 6th, 2021...OH WAIT !
