| Maniac who allegedly raped woman in NYC last year found hiding in Georgia |

| [New York Post] The maniac allegedly responsible for the brutal rape of a Queens woman last year has been arrested — after authorities found him hiding out in Georgia, prosecutors announced Monday. Rony Lopez Alvarez, 38, was dragged back to New York on Friday to face a slew of charges including rape and kidnapping in the horrifying January 2020 assault. Oh to wish he was actually dragged back "For more than a year, the investigation into this brutal attack continued and intensified in an effort to find justice for the victim," said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. |
