[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]

  • Bennett will now preside over a diverse and fragile coalition comprised of eight ideologically different parties

  • He will be prime minister until September 2023 before handing the power over to Yair Lapid,

#8  I don't think this will change overall policy with respect to Gaza and Iran, but if it begins to, he'll surely be ousted, no? I would worry about the Arab part of the coalition.

#6  My morning news outlets were all high fives, which tells me what I need to know.

Is that why the paleos were all about victory, because they were used to provide cover for this so called coalition? Because Bennett seems to be about as charismatic as Kamala.

#5  the ruling coalition is one of the most unstable collections ever assembled

some of its members want to annex the entire west bank, others want to allow free passage to Israel from Gaza

big differences on economic policy also - some favor price controls, some favor deregulation

#2  This doesn't seem good, but I'm not inside Israeli politics enough to predict a particular evolution. There will be a missile barrage, though.
