| Two dead, 19 wounded in weekend of heavy gun violence in NYC |

| [NYPOST] At least two men were killed and 19 people maimed in shootings in the Big Apple this weekend, as gun violence continues to skyrocket with no end in sight, police said. The weekend’s first fatal shooting came shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday in the South Bronx, where police responding to the scene found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back lying on the ground. The man was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He's dead, Jim! Hours later, another man was rubbed out in the borough after bullets rang out outside a church in Morrisania. The 41-year-old man, identified by sources as Vaughn Flanders, was bumped off in broad daylight Saturday outside St. Anthony of Padua Church at East 166th Street and Prospect Ave., cops said. |

| #3 Given its a city of 18 million, the 2/19 record is normal for any Left Leaning city where Citizens are disarmed, but criminals are not by Gun Control Laws. BTW: FBI (2019) * Data Avg. Murders per day 3.4 per 100,000 / 365 days 18M /100k x 3.4 /365 =1.676 per day x 2 = 3.2+ murders per weekend average . * Hey DOJ/FBI 6+ months and still waiting on 2020 crime data Interesting to data note: There are less 12k Police Officers on the NYC streets at any time (3 shifts and weekends = 36K police force total). So with a criminal element number of say 1% (180K)and only 8,200 serious arrests made in 2020. Using a National average of 1 arrest per every 8 serious crimes committed.
