| I can't wait if these guys meet after the group stage; it'll be exponentially worse than the soccer goons in Russia and Poland dancing the group stage at Euro 2012, where these idiots placed those two teams in the same group. [WorldFootball] Ukraine insisted Monday it would not allow anyone to insult its football kit that features Moscow-annexed Crimea, while Western allies gave the uniforms emblazoned with popular patriotic chants a thumbs up. Kiev has provoked Moscow's ire after its football association unveiled Euro 2020 kits that show the outline of Ukraine including Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014. The shirts also feature the words "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!" Ukraine's football association told AFP the national team wore the kit for the first time in a Euro 2020 warm-up against Cyprus in the northeastern city of Kharkiv on Monday. Just checked the schedule - slight chance of these guys hooking up, if they both get outta the group round /; grab the wildcard slots. |
