#3 Good enough, no argument, and I'd love to have one. But Remington 700 and Mauser 2000 in .270 Win and good old .30-30 carbine work ok. |

#1 I will admit my Universal M1 was better built and had a better accuracy and 100 yds. But back in 2011, I traded it using a verified ID process for a VG condition Kel-Tech SUB2000 in 40 cal. Note: At the time Universal M1's were selling for $85 to $250 depending on condition. WHY? Because the emergency application I wanted called for FOLD-UP. The Kel-Tech2000 folded to just under 17" and fit nicely in its intended and easy to quickly access location. Plus it eliminated the need for the harder to find (at the time and now again) 30 carbine cal. ammo. from my inventory list. Do I miss my M1 yes, but my applicational need was better addressed with the Kel-Tec. |
