#7  Turkish ships involved, so I don't know about Erdy.

Still a fair question concerning Team Assad, considering the US just sent a shitbunch of money and new attention into that arena.

Best question would be when was this scheduled.

She will exercise with naval vessels from the United States, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea, along the seven month voyage.

World tour would suggest a while ago.

#6  Why? What is the pressing need to face off with the Russians in 2021?

#5   Syria/Assad my ass, you must really need someone to hate today.

What are you, Israel's propaganda chief?

#4  Is the exercise aimed at the Russians, only?, or is it also aimed at Erdogan's Turkey and/or Assad's Syria? There are plenty of people in that area that a "big stick" could be shown to.

#3  The exercise was probably scheduled over a year ago as the British carrier and its aircraft needs some 'playtime'.

#2  I think I would be happier about this if I thought that Joe Biden was a strong leader who would use this to reinforce a tough line against Russia.

However, having seen Biden in action for a while, I'm afraid it is just a futile provocation from which we will receive no benefit.
