U.S planning to relocate Afghan workers and families who contributed to its military missions |

[KhaamaPress] The U.S has announced to relocate those Afghan workers and their families who have worked with the U.S military missions and as a result of that their lives are in danger, officials said. Gen Mark Milley, the Chairman of Joint Chief of Staff told reports the U.S government is developing plans to evacuate Afghan workers and their families, not only interpreters but anyone who has worked to assist the U.S military mission in Afghanistan. According to Milley, other options in addition to the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) are being considered to expedite the process. The U.S has announced their Embassy in Kabul will remain open and operational after the troops’ withdrawal. |
