[NYPOST] Mexican police discovered bones and women’s clothing under the floor of a murder suspect, raising suspicions that he might be a serial killer. Might? The 72-year-old suspect — identified only as "Andrés" under the country’s privacy laws — is accused of killing a 34-year-old woman and hacking up her body. DNA testing will be needed to determine how many other possible victims were discovered, prosecutors said Wednesday. In addition to human remains, police found shoes, ID cards, women’s handbags and clothing in the slum dwelling outside Mexico City. Officials used jackhammers to tear up a concrete floor, and found a bloody table with the 34-year-old’s hacked-up body in a shallow basement. Authorities in Mexico have come under fire in recent years for not doing enough to prevent, investigate and prosecute |
