COVID victims' bodies litter the Ganges as hundreds wash up in just a few days exposing the 'massive discrepancy' between real death toll and official count of 283,000 - as tests show TWO THIRDS of Indians have antibodies

#6  Only ashes of the dead are sent downriver. And Covid patients' bodies are burnt, as per government directive and the Indian custom that necessitates victims of disease to be fully incinerated. Mostly tribals or the dirt poor or criminals throw in bodies [for whatever reason]. A dozen or so bodies get caught in the nets every week anyway.

People have been littering the Ganges with their dead since forever. European foreign writers assisted by interns hired for their ideology just don't know how shit works here; they misreport on every little thing and their correspondents are all crazy marxists. They're camped out there like vultures in crematoriums and mortuaries these days, trying to report on 'the Modi Govt's lies and failures against Covid!' to their liberal masters. They think it worked with Trump so it'll work here too. Idiots.

I wouldn't worry about India. We absorb and move on. But it's okay if it gives people some vicarious thrill or feeling of being better off. And it brings in the oxygen and vaccines faster.

#5  This was brought up in 2020 in a Newsweek article (not exactly "conspiracy" stuff). Only now for some reason have the crickets stopped chirping.

#3  India's cumulative case rate (cases per million) is slightly below the world average and just 20% of the US rate. Reported death rate is half the world average 1nd 12% of the US rate. Inconsistent reporting? In a 'catch-up' wave? New variant? All of the above?
