Jerusalem Post Update: Massive barrage of 50 rockets fired at Ashkelon, Ashdod; buildings hit

[JP] 300 rockets have struck southern Israel since yesterday • IDF strikes more than 130 targets throughout the Strip.
"Are you ready?"
A number of buildings and homes were hit in Ashkelon and Ashdod amid barrages of rockets on Tuesday afternoon after the IDF struck a number of terrorist targets and killed multiple Gaza terrorists.

So far, two buildings in Ashdod and six buildings in Ashkelon have been hit by rockets, according to Israel Police. One of the buildings hit was a school

Defense Minister Benny Gantz approved the call up of 5,000 reservists on Tuesday as the IDF prepared for a large-scale offensive in the Gaza Strip as rocket attacks against southern Israel continued.

#14 A depot is on fire near a gas complex located close to Ashkelon, Israel after it was hit by a rocket from Gaza according to officials, as seen from Gaza City. Palestinian militants Hamas fired a barrage of rockets at Israel's economic hub Tel Aviv in retaliation for an Israeli strike that destroyed a tower block in Gaza, as the foes traded their heaviest fire in several years.

Now 700+ rockets fired at Israel. Casualty reports continue to come in.

#9 ^ Agreed. They are the enemy plain and simple, not just some ideological group wanting more freedoms than expedient.

We routinely use their appropriated labels of 'liberal', 'progressive' etc to describe them and we accord them an identity they don't deserve. The perception of conservatives becomes of people struggling against freedoms and progress to preserve some bygone era of coercion and class oppression. When it is in fact them, the Left, who aim to make society regress into slavery and penury.
