#8 Most of the by-gone actresses plying scatter-brains were really very bright. Judy Holiday and Lucille Ball come to mind. Didn't play a scatter-brain but Hedy Lamar was as bright as she was beautiful. She sketched the design for frequency hopping - think cell phone networks -on a napkin to help WWII radio controlled torpedos from being hacked. Based the design on a player piano roll. Dang I'm a sucker for smart women..hence Mrs Warthog who is both drop-dead gorgeous and incredibly smart. |
