  • Cpl. Keith Heacook, 54, responded to the call, but was allegedly physically confronted upon reaching the home

  • Witnesses report Heacook was allegedly stomped on the head by the suspect

  • Heacook was found unconscious and transported to a hospital, where he died Wednesday. He remains on life support for the purposes of organ donation

  • The same suspect allegedly assaulted an elderly couple with a glass angel figurine on Sunday morning, between the initial call and the attack on Heacook

  • Randon Wilkerson, 30, has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of possession of a deadly weapon during a felony, burglary, third-degree assault, and terroristic threatening

  • The charges will likely be upgraded to include murder after Heacook's death

Any color/race or etc. Criminal caught in the act of certain crimes against Society or Children should have a "Come to Jesus" meeting.
