Is it time to clean up our Justice System?

What If & How To Fix It Department.

I believe most of us would agree we have way too much POLITICS in our Justice system now. So should there be an overhaul to take the Politics OUT of it?

So what would you recommend to remove or reduce the amount Politics in our Justice System, IF it could be cleaned up?

How could We the People" make sure the proper checks and balances where there to keep the Justice system answerable to the Citizens and not $$$$ Donors and Politicians again?

What if the SCOTUS had a say (vote) on who is appointed to the DOJ Director position and the authority to review Federal Judge appointments to ensure they understand and will adhere to the US Constitution and Bill of Rights as written?

What if the SCOTUS had the unsolicited authority to recommend Federal Judges (eg..9th dist) not following the US Constitution or writing laws from the bench be removed.

What If the DOJ was required to apply a Consistent and Equal application of US Constitution Law, or be sued or criminally charged for Civil Rights and/or Abuse of Power Violations?

Plus, should the SCOTUS Justices have a mandatory Retirement age and a annual independent mental health checkup requirement? To avoid another Justice Ruth Ginsburg type scenario. Where her staff were rumored to have been filing her legal decisions for her as she was dying for 9+ months in and out the hospital?

What if just like US Laws that prohibit DUI to protect the public, shouldn't our Civil Rights have the same protection? So shouldn't Federal Judges and even SCOTUS Justices using medications that would impair Mental judgement/conscience not be allowed to vote?

Should we have a separate Death Penalty Appeal Court system setup to reduce the now 15 to 25 years of built-in stalls and delays?
A good start would be to remove union job protections for the entire federal bureaucracy, such that everyone on the payroll was working at-will and could be fired without cause by the president or his appointed secretaries and department heads. But that would require a law passed by Congress, so thqt will await a Republican sweep of the other two branches of government.

#2  Too far gone for that. You learn that every branch, to include the bureaucracy, must be accountable in order to maintain a republic. When you have one branch sit for life and be 'de facto' unaccountable you end up at best as an oligarchy. Humans build empires, petty or grand. When the judiciary made itself the run around to Article V and the other two branches preferred to allow it so as to avoid making hard and divisive stands, the end was sealed.

#1  Frankly, I don't see any system at all. We had one, but this capricious, 'the process is the punishment' tumor sure isn't it and neither is it functioning.
