| #12 Glad you like it, Wren. India keeps a close watch on Chinese research and innovation, if only to report to its betters about what new IPR is being transgressed. There's a lot of trial-and-error in their pharma, biochemistry domains, and a ton of ideological dogma about theoretical concepts. When the paradigm for study is ideologically limited, the only recourse is to reverse engineer the work of others and bungle about. I believe the greater advancements in Chinese research and technology lie not in the science itself, but in the publication of hyped achievements. And totalitarian societies are better able to cope with epidemics, The Cascaescus and Saddams are a different phylum altogether; glorified warlords and dynasts painted with a coat of modernity, until they're dragged down. I think what we have come to call totalitarianism is just the western MSM, UN, and globalist lingo for 'responsible authoritarian leadership unbridled by liberal/yuppie/academic/narrow-interest voices'. Such an establishment can be good or bad depending only on whether they are supported by the majority. Putin is supported by his people, so is the CPC in fact. That, in itself gives them a rightful mandate in their domains, the dissenters be damned. And if a responsible administration is strong, unaccountable to self-righteous crazies or mercs for Soros, it is acceptable. That being said, the entire world must crackdown on any summbitches who are researching bioweapons of any sort. In a day and age when countries are expending great resources to fight with disease, hunger and suffering some are thinking up new ways to introduce suffering on scales large enough to disbalance national economies. Such barbarians need to die, seriously. |

But totalitarian societies are better able to ignore large numbers of deaths while blocking expression of citizen distress... until the tipping point causes them to be Ceausescu’d of course. And even though they had the exact design of the virus, because they’d developed it, the West the West not only beat them to a workable vaccine, and beat them in mass production as well, but has now produced at least four superior vaccines while China has only one — and that one is so bad that reportedly 70% of the Party members offered it have refused. |
