| [11ALIVE] A man fatally shot by police, Wednesday, was shot inside his own home, said DeKalb County PD Chief Mirtha Ramos. Police released body camera video on Friday showing officers pleading at length with 35-year-old Matthew Williams to drop his knife. It was an incident where the very premise of the 911 call was flawed, according to the body camera video and information provided by Chief Ramos. |

| #3 #1 There was a case in Israel during the second intifada (I think). An Arab was running on the street stabbing people. Run across a cop who fired at his legs - actually hit him once. That didn't stop the stabber, and the cop (a member of an elite police unit) got stabbed to death. Terrorist kept running - looking for somebody else to stab. Came across a reservist going home on a leave. The reservist put an entire M16 magazine, 29 bullets, into Ahmad's torso. The end. |

| #2 Say you shot the armed thug in the leg. Ok their not running now but they are still armed. BTW: If you want to shoot a person wearing Level 2+ Body Armor? Double tap the usually unprotected Left Hip joint area. Given there 7 major arteries crisis crossing the area, they bleed out in <2 mins. |

| #1 Why can't they shoot people in the leg instead of all this drama? A soft nose round shatters the tibia, there's no perp in the world that's gonna advance on you. More range time and less behavioural therapy, I say. |
