| #7 /\ You're "not clear" and neither is anyone else. There should have been a flag level commission investigation with solid, UNCLASSIFIED findings. The commission would have reported their findings to the Chief of Naval Opns (CNO) and he to the Congress. The fact that the Congress of the United States appears to have little or no interest is telling and does indeed suggest a WOKE attack (in broad terms). Comments, rebuttals, Bueller, anyone ? |

| #6 I have never been clear about what the sailors onboard did to start the fire and why it so quickly got out of control. There was brief reporting about a trash fire started somewhere on the lower cargo hold and something about disgruntled enlisted making little attempt to stop a fire that would have delayed the next deployment, then radio silence. So a 2.3 billion dollar asset burns at pierside and is a total loss. What is missing here is why such a thing happened and who is culpable, and why. The absence of that suggests that something is being covered up....and why is it being covered up, and all the possible woke explanations loom? |
